The Cyprus Deputy Ministry of Tourism in cooperation with the Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB) successfully organized a webinar on ” Opportunities for a green restart of the hotel industry arising from the COVID-19 pandemic” on December 8, 2020.
In the webinar, an introductory presentation was made by a representative of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism. Then, the Director of the Department of Energy and Environment of OEB, Anthi Charalambous, presented the Impacts and opportunities for a green restart after COVID-19 in the Hotel sector. The presentation summarises the results of the study that carried out in the framework of Hotels4Climate project. A brief presentation on the Evaluation parameters of proposals for green restart was given by Dr. Theodoros Zachariadis, Cyprus Institute.
