The Cyprus Employers & Industrialists Federation (OEB) informs you about a targeted survey launched by the European Commission, in the context of a study on the simplification of procedures related to excise duties in intra-EU transactions.
The survey aims to collect direct views from businesses on:
- the practical application of excise duty rules;
- the related administrative obligations;
- challenges faced in intra-EU activities.
The results will be used to formulate proposals that are part of the European Commission’s strategy to simplify payment, management and licensing procedures related to the marketing of excise products.
OEB calls on its member companies, especially Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and Mid-Caps, to actively participate in the research, contributing substantially to the formation of a more effective and functional regulatory framework.
