At a meeting held on 17/9/2026, the Board of Directors of the Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB) unanimously approved a proposal by the Executive Committee for the promotion of Lena Panayiotou to the position of Deputy Director General of the Organization, effective from 1/1/2027.
Lena Panayiotou was hired as an Officer in the Labour Relations & Social Policy Department of OEB in 2004, in 2017 she was promoted to the position of Director of the Department and from January 2024 to the position of Assistant Director General.
She is a graduate of the Nicosia English School and holds a law degree and a master’s degree in International Relations from Leeds University.
