Head of OEB Limassol – Paphos Office

 

The Cyprus Employers & Industrialists Federation (OEB) is accepting applications for the vacant position of “Head of OEB Limassol-Paphos Office”.

Required qualifications:

  • University degree
  • Postgraduate diploma or degree will be considered additional qualification
  • Very good knowledge of Greek and English language. Knowledge of Russian language will be considered additional qualification
  • Strong personality and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Minimum three years working experience
  • Fulfilled military obligations (for male candidates)
  • Character integrity, organisational and administrative capacity, accountability, credibility, confidentiality, initiative and ethics
  • Holder of driver’s license with ability to move anywhere in Cyprus

Residency in Limassol will be considered an advantage.

Head of OEB Limassol – Paphos Office

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Registration of new members to OEB and communication with existing members.
  2. Participation in the activities of OEB’s Limassol – Paphos Committee and coordination of local issues.
  3. Undertaking investigation / identification of problems and / or suggestions of OEB’s members in the districts of Limassol and Paphos and promoting them after consultation with the Management of OEB and / or the Committee.
  4. Informing OEB’s headquarters for all non-local issues for further handling or instructions.
  5. Heading the office, keeping meeting minutes and preparing memos, correspondence and other documents required to promote OEB’s matters and Committee decisions.
  6. Providing information regarding OEB’s activities and other topics of interest to members in the two districts.
  7. Collecting due membership subscription fees (direct members and associations’ members).
  8. Appropriate promotion of the activities of OEB and of the office in Limassol.
  9. Convening and attending meetings of professional groups, keeping minutes of such meetings, conducting correspondence and promoting decisions on common professional issues.
  10. Participation in meetings and representation of OEB in any committees, bodies, organisations or public debates as decided by the Director General or the Deputy Director General.
  11. Undertaking any other tasks falling within the activities of the Secretariat of OEB should they have been entrusted by the Director General or the Deputy Director General.
