The Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB) informs that as of April 2024, Regulation (EU) 2024/1252 of the European Parliament and of the Council has entered into force, which establishes a framework to ensure a secure and sustainable supply of critical raw materials to the European Union.
In the context of the implementation of the Regulation, the Geological Survey Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment proceeds to the mapping of the Cypriot market through the collection of data from enterprises whose activities include the extraction, production, recycling, use, processing or marketing of strategic and critical raw materials.
