The Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB) informs you that the Embassy of the United States of America in Cyprus intends to organize a delegation with Cypriot Companies that meet the relevant criteria and want to take part in the SelectUSA Investment Summit and the SelectUSA Tech Summit that will be hosted in the city of Maryland from May 11 to 14, 2025.
The SelectUSA Investment Summit is the U.S. Department of Commerce’s most high-profile event that connects potential investors or businesses looking to expand their presence in the U.S. with local and regional economic development organizations from across the country to facilitate investment, expansion, and job creation. It is a great opportunity for companies looking to enter the U.S. market or increase their presence in the U.S. to work with relevant organizations, learn from experts, and explore investment opportunities.
The SelectUSA Tech Summit will be held at the same time as the Investment Summit, focusing on eligible international technology startups developing innovative products/services that plan to enter or expand in the U.S. market within the next two to three years. The Tech program aims to support these companies’ expansion efforts in the U.S. by facilitating connections to the U.S. startup ecosystem, including potential investors.

It is noted that there is a process for the verification of applications while the Ministry of Commerce will make the final decision on the approval of participation.
