The Energy Agency informs interested parties that it is conducting a public consultation on the following bills:
- Bill entitled “The Energy Efficiency Promotion Law 2025”
- Bill entitled “The Promotion of Energy Efficiency in Heating and Cooling and Cogeneration of Electricity and Heat (Amendment) Law of 2025”
- Bill entitled “The Electricity Market Regulation (Amendment) Law of 2025”
- Bill entitled “The Natural Gas Market Regulation (Amendment) Law of 2025”.
The drafts have been prepared for legislative harmonisation purposes by 11 October 2025, with Articles 1, 2 and 3, Article 4(1) to (4), the first, second, fourth, fifth and sixth subparagraphs of Article 5, Article 4(6) and (7), Articles 5 to 11, Article 12(2) to (5), Articles 21 to 25, Article 26(1) and (2), Article 26(4) to (14), Article 27, Article 28(1) to (5), Articles 29 to 32 and Annex I, Annexes III to VII, and Annexes X, XI and XV to the European Energy Efficiency Directive (EU) 2023/1791.
Stakeholders can be informed about the draft under consultation and submit comments through the e-Consultation platform.
The deadline for submission of comments, in the context of the public consultation, is Friday, 28 February 2025, until 15:00.
