The academic community of the University of Limassol, honoring the memory and contribution of Dimitris Tsiropoulos, Director of the CIIM Bioeconomia Center, offers a special tuition fee reduction for the Postgraduate Program (MSc) in Green Transition & Sustainable Development, bringing the total tuition fee to €1,500 for registration until March 3, 2026.
The offer is aimed at organizations and bodies active in the field of green transition and sustainable development.
The program is designed to meet the modern needs of organizations and businesses that operate or wish to strengthen their strategy in the fields of sustainable development, green economy, environmental policy, energy transition and ESG practices.
It combines modern topics with practical orientation, offering specialized knowledge on topics such as:
- Green economy and sustainable business models
- Environmental policy and regulatory framework
- Energy transition and climate strategy
- ESG and corporate sustainability
The distance learning format allows professionals to combine work and study flexibly while maintaining a high academic standard.
Dimitris Tsiropoulos was a man of vision, ethos and substantial contribution. As Director of the CIIM Bioeconomia Center, he worked with dedication to promote sustainable development, green and bioeconomy, as well as responsible entrepreneurship.
With consistency and dynamism, he supported organizations and businesses on their path to the green transition. It worked closely with Municipalities and Communities, preparing evaluation studies in relation to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, the European Sustainable Cities Protocol and strengthening resilience against the climate crisis.
At the same time, it contributed to the creation of Green Entrepreneurship Centers at local level and to the development of educational activities, research initiatives and strategic synergies, aiming at a more sustainable, equitable and resilient future. His presence stood out not only for his scientific competence, but also for his humanity, modesty and sincere willingness to offer.
