We must approach the sector holistically and stop seeing it as an “expense”
The picture presented today by the health sector in Cyprus is analyzed to Kathimerini by the president of OEB, Giorgos Pantelides. Mr. Pantelides stressed that the sector has the conditions to develop into a strategic pillar of development for Cyprus and is capable of making us a regional service hub. A prerequisite for this is to ensure a stable regulatory framework, to create conditions of equal competition and to invest both in infrastructure and new technologies as well as in human resources. OEB is organizing on February 26 a Health Conference entitled “Transforming Health in Cyprus: New Trends, New Realities”.
