The Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB) informs you that the Department of Labour Inspection (TEE) has announced the National Competition of Good Practice Examples on Occupational Safety and Health Issues.
The purpose of the competition is to reward the effort of businesses/organizations, which focuses on ensuring the safety, health and well-being of their employees and other persons who may be affected by their activities.
At the same time, through the competition, businesses/organizations are encouraged to develop good practices and/or implement practices submitted through this competition. Businesses/organizations, from all sectors of economic activity, can submit their nominations in electronic form for the Good Practice Awards, no later than and on 31/7/2026.
It is clarified that for each example of good practice submitted, a separate form must be completed, which is attached, and should be sent to the email address onicolaidou@dli.mlsi.gov.cyIt is pointed out that the good practices that will be awarded and will be related to the theme of the new European Campaign to be organized by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) on “Promoting Mental Health at Work with the Participation of All”, may also be promoted as nominations for the European Good Practice Awards.
The announcement of the results of the National Competition will take place at the beginning of October and the awards will be presented as part of the ceremony for Occupational Safety and Health Week 2026, which will take place in the same month.
