The Pancyprian Association of Private Hospitals – PASIN (Member of OEB) announces that the Central Committee of the Association has accepted the applications for membership of the Apollonion Private Hospital and the Aretaeio Medical Center. Also, in the previous period, the new El Greco Medical hospital and the Nicosia Polyclinic were included in PASIN.
The inclusion of these hospitals in the strength of PASIN Members further strengthens its position as the collective representative body of private hospitals within and outside the General Health Plan and at the same time is proof of the seriousness with which the Association’s documented proposals are examined, drafted and submitted to the decision-making centers.
The strengthening of PASIN will contribute to addressing the common challenges faced by licensed hospitals – Members, regardless of size, such as the lack of nursing staff, the legislative regulations for the operation of hospitals, equal treatment with public hospitals, as well as other important issues such as common supplies/consumables, medical waste management, green and digital transition, etc.
PASIN assures the public and patients that its Members make every effort to ensure the provision of quality health services and choices to patients. For this purpose, cooperation and consultation with the Ministry of Health, the HIO, patients and other bodies will continue and be upgraded.
