OEB would like to inform you that the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) has put to public consultation the Draft of the new Rules for Participation in its Funding Programmes.
This consultation concerns all the proposed regulations, which are expected to be implemented through the RIF’s new electronic proposal and project management system, which is scheduled to become operational in 2027.
In this context, you are invited to study the attached documents and send us your views, comments and suggestions on the proposed regulations.
Please send your comments no later than Monday, March 9, 2026, to mkallis@oeb.org.cy email address, clearly stating the Section / Chapter (from 1 to 9) of the Regulations to which you refer. The OEB will then collect, group and process the positions to be collected and forward them centrally to the RIF, in the context of the formal consultation process.
Your active participation in the consultation process is particularly important, as the new Rules of Participation will substantially affect the future framework for funding research, development and innovation projects.
