The Department of the Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property (TEEDI) informs that all companies that have been incorporated or registered under the Companies Law, Cap. 113, all European Public Limited Liability Companies (SEs) and all Cooperatives (hereinafter referred to as the Organisations) are invited to enter the Register of Beneficial Owners (MP) system from 1 October 2025 to 31 December 202 5 and proceed to the action of confirming the data of the beneficial owners (PD) or senior management officers or due diligence (whichever is applicable in each case).
Please note that if by 31December 20205 you do not confirm the above information in the MPA regardless of the criminal liability or prosecution of any person, the company or other legal entity is subject to a financial charge of one hundred euros (€100) on the first day and a further financial charge of fifty euros (€50) for each day of continuation of the violation; with a maximum total charge of five thousand euros (€5,000).

It is noted that, in the event that the initial registration or change or any other action in the PD system concerning the data of the PD or senior management officers or the due diligence of the company and other legal entity falls within the period of data confirmation, i.e. between 1/10 and 31/12 of the current year, then the action of the initial registration or change or any other action must be carried out and then the confirmation of data of the PD or the top administrative officers or due diligence (whatever is applicable in each case) until 31/12 of this year.
Please note that the verification of details must be carried out only once during the period 1/10 to 31/12 of this year. In the event that a change or any other action occurs after the data confirmation, the data confirmation does not need to be repeated.
