The Employers & Industrialists Federation (OEB) announces the start of evaluation inspections for the certification of 20 hotel facilities participating in the Gold Circle of Services of the Measure “Promotion of the Circular Economy in Hotel Facilities”.
The process is being implemented in accordance with the requirements of the Circular Economy Certification Scheme, developed within the framework of the Measure. The Certifying Body is TÜV AUSTRIA Cyprus.
Through certification, hotel facilities will gain a competitive advantage and strengthen their resilience by applying circular practices that improve sustainability and upgrade the image of Cypriot tourism.
The Scheme serves as a practical guidance tool, helping businesses to improve their performance, introduce innovations, and move steadily towards the green transition.
The Measure is funded by the European Union’s Recovery and Resilience Facility, within the framework of Cyprus’s Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP) for the period 2021–2026.
