China Customs Registration Process – Wine Export to China, Presentation of Ways of Cooperation

On Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at 8:30 a.m. (Cyprus time), the China Commercial Advisor Mr. Petros Petrou in collaboration with the Export Helpdesk of the Trade Service will hold an online presentation on the Registration of companies at China Customs and the Purchase of Wine in China, in order to provide useful information to any interested party for the export of Cypriot wines to China.

 

Considering that the wine sector plays a key role in the economy, not only of Europe but of the whole world, the China Trade Center will proceed to the analysis of data of China’s domestic market, to present market trends, new consumer preferences and various sales channels, as well as to present/discuss a successful company model from Slovakia. .

The Export Helpdesk of the Trade Service, in collaboration with the Trade Centers of the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry (MoEb) abroad, will organize online presentations in 2025 in relation to the markets of the countries they cover.

The Export Helpdesk of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is a service that is at the disposal of Cypriot businesses and its operation falls within the framework of the overall effort made for further penetration of exports of Cypriot products and services to foreign markets. It provides information to Cypriot businesses in relation to the trading conditions in foreign markets and contributes to the finding of partners and importers abroad through the Shopping Centres.

The Shopping Centres, in cooperation with other competent services, are generally active in the promotion of Cyprus as an International Business Centre and in the promotion of Cypriot products and services abroad. At the moment, the Ministry of Commerce operates 14 Shopping Centers abroad, covering 48 countries of particular commercial and economic interest to Cyprus. Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Peru and Paraguay have also been added to the range of services of the Export Helpdesk from 2025 through the Embassy of Cyprus in Buenos Aires.
