The Cyprus Organization for Standardization (CYS), in its capacity as the national standardization body in Cyprus, extends an invitation to promote to the members of the Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB) the participation in the second (2nd) edition of the European Standardisation Panel Survey (ESPS), which was prepared by the European Commission. This survey aims to capture experiences, gather views, suggestions and practices from stakeholders on the European standardisation system and their standardisation needs.
The survey is aimed at bodies and experts who are active or involved in the process of developing European standards and aims to contribute to improving the efficiency, transparency and inclusiveness of the standardisation system at European level. It is expected that the findings of the survey will help to align standardisation processes with the needs of stakeholders as well as to ensure a balanced representation of stakeholders in standardisation activities.
The participation of stakeholders is particularly important, as it substantially enhances the dialogue and the collegiality of decisions/recommendations on European standardization. The results of the research will be used to formulate evidence-based strategies, policies and recommendations addressing key areas such as innovation, sustainability, digital transition and the competitiveness of the European economy, to policymakers, industry representatives and standardisation bodies.
