AnAD, within the framework of its responsibilities, operates the Professional Qualifications System (SAP), the purpose of which is to upgrade human resources through the assessment of the knowledge, skills and abilities of the individual on the basis of specific Professional Qualifications Standards (PEP). The EWC is part of the Cyprus Qualifications Framework (CyQF) which has been correlated with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) resulting in the national and European recognition of professional qualifications certified under the system.
An important role in the operation of the Vocational Qualifications Assessment Centres (KAEP) and the Vocational Qualifications Assessors play an important role. In particular, the Professional Qualification Assessors are external collaborators of HRDA who are approved on the basis of criteria related to their qualifications (academic and/or professional) and their professional experience. The role of Professional Qualification Assessors is to assess, for remuneration, the knowledge, skills and abilities of individuals for the certification of their professional qualifications.
In order to be able to certify people in as many professions as possible, it is necessary to have a sufficient number of Professional Qualification Assessors for each profession. Therefore, in the context of AnAD’s effort to promote and further implement the EWC, your contribution to the effort to attract interested professionals who would like to submit their interest for approval as Professional Qualification Assessors is important.
For this purpose, we attach the invitation for applications from interested parties for their approval as Professional Qualifications Assessors, which is posted on the HRDA website and remains open.
