The Tax Department informs that a tool has been posted on the TaxPortal for searching/verifying the Tax Identification Number (Tax Identification Number) of employees.
Through this tool, the employer can find out whether the employee is registered in the Registry of the Tax Department, by entering the identity card number or the ARC number and the date of birth.
It should be noted that only employers have access to the tool, who:
- submitted at least one Employer Declaration (T.F.7) or
- made at least one payment of withholding tax (0100) for the period from 01/01/2021 onwards.
On the TAX FOR ALL website, a relevant guide has been posted under the thematic section “Drivers”, under the option “Employer Withholding Declarations”, which can be consulted by interested parties.
