The Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB) announces the inclusion of the Cyprus Association of Beekeepers in the ranks of its Association – Members, further strengthening the representation of the primary sector by the largest Employers’ Organization in Cyprus.
The Cyprus Association of Beekeepers represents the professional and amateur beekeepers of Cyprus and is active in promoting the interests of the sector, the upgrading and modernization of Cypriot beekeeping, as well as the promotion of Cypriot honey and hive products.
Beekeeping is an important part of the primary sector, contributing to the production of quality products, the agricultural economy, pollination, as well as the preservation of biodiversity and the natural environment.
OEB welcomes the Cyprus Beekeepers Association to its large family and expresses the certainty that this cooperation will contribute to the more effective promotion of the issues of the sector, as well as to the further development and strengthening of Cypriot beekeeping.
