The Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB) informs that the Department of Environment of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment has issued a call for the submission of proposed measures and/or relevant data, data and information, in the context of the preparation of the National Nature Restoration Plan.
According to the information of the Department of Environment, bodies that have not yet submitted suggestions have the possibility to do so until Friday, May 15, 2026, at the latest.
Those who wish can submit:
a) detailed recording of proposed measures in the relevant Excel file and in the accompanying geospatial files prepared for this purpose, following the instructions included in the file “Instructions for recording proposals”, and/or
(b) existing plans, documents or other files in editable form, such as Word or Excel, which include actions, projects or measures that can contribute to nature restoration.
The call is particularly relevant to businesses, professional associations and bodies whose activities, projects, plans or strategies are directly or indirectly linked to environmental, land, infrastructure, biodiversity, agriculture, water, energy, industry, tourism or wider sustainable development issues.
