Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between OEB and SEV

The President of the Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB), Mr. George Pantelides and the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV), Mrs. Rania Ekaterinari, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the two employers’ organizations, confirming their common commitment to strengthen entrepreneurship, competitiveness and extroversion of businesses in Cyprus and Greece.

Through the Memorandum, the foundations are laid for deepening cooperation in areas such as innovation, digital and green transformation, energy, skills development and the promotion of trade and investment between the two countries. At the same time, a closer framework for dialogue and coordination is being created for the exchange of know-how, the formulation of joint initiatives and the emergence of new possibilities for cooperation for the businesses of the two countries.

This development is an important step for the further strengthening of bilateral business relations and for the creation of new growth prospects, which can contribute substantially to the strengthening of economic activity and competitiveness, both of the Cypriot and Greek economies.

OEB, as the largest employers’ organization in the country, remains committed to shaping a modern and competitive business environment, strengthening strategic partnerships, such as the one with SEV, which strengthen the extroversion of businesses and deepen the interconnection of the Cypriot economy with other business ecosystems.
