The Cyprus Productivity Centre informs you that the9th National Skills Competition 2026 has been announced. The Competition, which is aimed at young people up to 24 years old (born after 31/12/2001), will be held from 29 to 31 October 2026 at the State Fair in Nicosia and will be open to the public.
The institution of Skills Competitions is an important initiative of the Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance for the development and strengthening of technical and professional skills in our country, which are the foundation for strengthening the competitiveness of the Cypriot economy. In the context of the Competition, it is planned to hold individual competitions in 22 specialties. Industry professionals can participate as Experts in the Competition Design and Development Committees in their specialties and help attract young people working in your Field who are interested in competing.
In order to provide more extensive information to Social Partners, Academic Institutions, professional associations and businesses, the Productivity Center is organizing a meeting on March 11, 2026, 9:00 – 12:30 in the event hall of POED (location on Google Maps), where everyone is welcome. The program of the meeting will be announced within the next few days. Registrations are accepted through the relevant Declaration of Participation.
