The Cyprus Association of Surveying & Market Research Companies (SEDEAK), a member of the Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB), announces that the Annual General Meeting of the Association was held on Monday, December 15, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at the offices of OEB in Nicosia.
During the General Assembly, the activities of the Board of Directors for 2025 were reviewed, the financial statements were examined and approved, while important issues related to the operation, role and future course of the Association were discussed, with particular emphasis on issues of self-regulation of polls and strengthening the credibility of the sector.
Within the framework of the Assembly, elections were held for the election of the new Board of Directors for the next two years. The new Board of Directors is as follows:
- President: Christina Kokkalou (IMR)
- Vice President: Lysandros Chatzilambrou (CONREAD RESEARCH)
- Treasurer: Tasos Charalambous (RAI)
- Secretary: Panagiotis Panagiotou (PULSE MARKET RESEARCH)
A special and honorable mention was made to the outgoing President of the Association, Mrs. Eleni Marangou (CYMAR MARKET RESEARCH). The General Assembly expressed its warm thanks for its many years of substantial contribution to the development, smooth operation and strengthening of the institutional role of SEDEAK. In recognition of her important contribution, it was decided to award her the title of Honorary President of the Association.
SEDEAK continues its activities with the aim of offering an organizational and structural scheme for its members, promoting and elevating the profession of its members, protecting their professional reputation and well-meaning professional interests, as well as protecting and promoting the institution of market research and opinion polls.
The new Board of Directors is committed to continuing the work of the Association consistently and collectively for the benefit of its members and society at large.
