Leading the Way: Cypriot Women who Inspire

OEB presented the album “Leading the Way: Cypriot Women Who Inspire”, a flagship publication developed in collaboration with the Office of the Commissioner for Gender Equality and under the auspices of the First Lady, Mrs. Philippa Karsera Christodoulides.

The publication showcases the journeys of 67 Cypriot women holding senior state, political and institutional positions, highlighting personal stories, experiences and achievements that often remain outside the public spotlight. Through its pages, the album serves as a source of inspiration for the next generation of women leaders and reinforces the message that the meaningful empowerment of women is a cornerstone of social and economic progress.

Through this initiative, OEB reaffirms that gender equality is not merely a moral imperative, but a strategic investment in sustainable growth, social cohesion and innovation. By promoting equal opportunities and elevating women’s potential, Cyprus is shaping a future that is more fair, dynamic and creative.
