The Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry (YEEB) has announced the extension of the “Plan for the Production of Electricity from Renewable Energy Sources for Own Consumption” (April 2024), until December 31, 2025.
At the same time, according to the relevant CERA Decision (No. 185/2025, dated 29/05/2025), consumers who choose suppliers other than EAC-Supply can submit applications to the Distribution System Operator, following the existing procedure.
It is reminded that independent suppliers must complete the required procedures for the standardization of their contracts in a timely manner, so that their customers become beneficiaries of the Grant Schemes of the RES & ESE Fund.
