Training seminars for the submission of a declaration for release for free circulation (H1) and for the submission of the national declaration ND1 for Union goods subject to VAT

Following the training seminars organized in the Automated Import System (AIS) in September, October 2024, March, April, May and June 2025, the Customs Department is organizing a repeat series of practical training sessions for:

(a) the submission of a declaration for release for free circulation and the special use (H1), with procedure code 40 00, and

b) for the submission of the national declaration ND1 for Union goods subject to Excise Duties.

The general objective of the trainings is to familiarize them with the system, with the structure of the formulations and the basic flow of messages. This phase of the trainings concerns Customs Agents/Importers and will be held at the Limassol Customs, the Ports Authority, on the Ground Floor, based on the following program:

It is emphasized that:

 

• If the need arises, new training days and hours will be added to the above link, and
• Due to the increased interest in participation, it will be possible to participate only one representative for each economic operator.

 

Practical information:

 

1. Participants are required, in case they have not already done so, to secure a password to the AIS test environment before the training (the procedure is attached).
2. Practical training will be carried out in the formulations of the AIS (hands-on training) and therefore, participants are invited to come to the trainings with their personal computer.
