New CSR Cyprus Board of Directors

On Thursday, 3 July 2025, the 9th Annual Electoral and General Assembly of CSR Cyprus was held with great success, at Lemon Park in Nicosia, with the participation of representatives of Member Organizations, partners and institutional bodies.

The Commissioner for the Citizen, Mr. Panagiotis Palates, the Commissioner for the Environment and Animal Welfare, Mrs. Antonia Theodosiou, and the Director General of OEB, Mr. Michalis Antoniou, congratulated CSR Cyprus for its contribution to the Cypriot public debate, the inclusiveness it represents, praising the importance of active partnerships for the promotion of the principles of sustainable development in our country.

During the review of CSR Cyprus’ actions for the period July 2024 – June 2025, the President of the BoD, Dr. Marinos Voukis, referred, among other things, to the development of the Network, which currently has 75 Members, the expansion of its partnerships, the enhancement of its presence and recognition, as well as the value that Members derive from their participation.

This was followed by the presentation of the Financial Statements for the year 2024 by the Treasurer of the Association, Mr. Kyriakos Shakallis. At the same time, the Members approved the proposed changes to the Articles of Association, which were read out by the Secretary, Mrs. Maria Mavridou.

Within the framework of the Assembly, elections were held for the election of a new Board of Directors, which is formed as follows:

  • President: Marinos Voukis (Cyprus University of Technology)
  • Vice-President: Sotiroulla Sotiriou (Charalambides Christis Ltd)
  • Secretary: Maria Mavridou (Vassiliko Cement Works Public Company Ltd)
  • Treasurer: Kyriakos Shakallis (Cyta)
  • Membership:
    • Doreen Dermidjian (Vassos Eliades Ltd)
    • Marina Kyriakou (ipH Iakovos Photiades Foodstuff Suppliers Ltd)
    • George Savvas (Amdocs Development Ltd)
    • Maria-Anna Fortoma (Private Hospital Polyclinic Hygeia)
    • Mariella Christodoulidou (Green Energy Group Ltd)

The presence and active participation of the Members in the Assembly underline the dynamics of CSR Cyprus and the joint commitment of the companies belonging to it, to promote corporate responsibility and sustainable development in Cyprus.
