You are informed that the European Commission has recently begun discussing the proposal to restrict the use outdoors and in Lead shooting ranges, in cartridges for hunting and shooting and in fishing gear. The restriction is expected to amend Annex XVII of the European Regulation with no. Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006/EC (REACH). The relevant explanatory statement is attached.
Due to the fact that the competent authorities for the REACH Regulation were invited to submit their first written comments immediately, if you wish you can submit them to us no later than 19.3.2025.
