The Productivity Center, of the Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance, announces the announcement of the 9th National Skills Competition SkillsCyprus 2026, which has been set under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Christodoulides .
The Competition is the biggest celebration of skills in Cyprus and a great opportunity for the young men and women of Cyprus to showcase their skills in 22 specialties and claim a place for the European Euroskills Competition 2027 to be held in Germany, with the support and guidance of experienced professionals from industry and academia.
The aim of the Competition is to upgrade the professional skills of young people and to strengthen technical and vocational education and training to effectively respond to the ever-changing needs of the labor market.
The Competition will be held from 29 to 31 October 2026 at the State Fair in Nicosia and will be open to the public.
The Productivity Center invites young men and women to choose the specialty that concerns them and to declare their interest in participating.
Accordingly, it invites experienced professionals in relevant fields to submit their interest to support our young men and women as Experts.
