More than 120 professionals participated in the 18thmeeting of the Network of Industrial Relations Professionals and Human Resources Management (SLRNetwork) held on December 9, 2025 by the Federation of Employers & Industrialists (OEB). The Network’s meetings are actions of the Project “Healthy Labor Relations, Modern Enterprises III” implemented in the framework of the Cohesion Policy Program “THALIA 2021-2027” with the co-financing of the EU.
The meeting focused on the well-being of employees through raising awareness of menopause and multiple sclerosis, and the promotion of safety and health in the context of teleworking. The event was welcomed by Mr. Michalis Antoniou, General Manager of OEB, who in his intervention proceeded to review the current labor developments.
During her presentation, Mrs. Machi Solomou, Certified Menopause Champion of the British High Commission, informed about the effects of menopause on women, the way they can affect the performance of their duties, and presented various good practices to ensure their work well-being and empowerment.
Subsequently, Mrs. Georgia Dimofanous, President of the Pancyprian Multiple Support Association, informed about the disease and the various ways in which it can manifest itself, and presented various good practices with which affected employees can be supported.
Finally, Dr. Olga Nikolaidou, Labor Inspection Officer at the Department of Labor Inspection of the Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance, presented the online interactive risk assessment tool OiRA which will now also cover the risks associated with teleworking.
At the end of the presentations, a reception followed, in which the members of the Network had the opportunity to network and chat with the speakers.
