Η ΟΕΒ παρουσίασε το Λεύκωμα “Leading the Way: Cypriot Women Who Inspire”, μια έκδοση, αποτέλεσμα συνεργασίας με το Γραφείο της Επιτρόπου Ισότητας, η οποία τελεί υπό την αιγίδα της Πρώτης Κυρίας Φιλίππας Καρσερά Χριστοδουλίδη.

Το Λεύκωμα καταγράφει 67 Κύπριες γυναίκες που κατέχουν κορυφαία πολιτειακά, πολιτικά ή θεσμικά αξιώματα και αναδεικνύει προσωπικές ιστορίες, εμπειρίες και επιτυχίες που συχνά παραμένουν άγνωστες στο ευρύ κοινό. Μέσα από τις σελίδες του, λειτουργεί ως πηγή έμπνευσης για τη νέα γενιά γυναικών ηγετών και ενισχύει το μήνυμα ότι η ενδυνάμωση των γυναικών αποτελεί βασική προϋπόθεση κοινωνικής και οικονομικής προόδου.

Η ΟΕΒ επιβεβαιώνει ότι η ισότητα των φύλων δεν είναι μόνο ηθική υποχρέωση αλλά και στρατηγική επιλογή για βιώσιμη ανάπτυξη, κοινωνική συνοχή και καινοτομία. Μέσα από την προώθηση ίσων ευκαιριών και την ενδυνάμωση των γυναικών, η Κύπρος οικοδομεί ένα μέλλον πιο δίκαιο, δυναμικό και δημιουργικό.
