The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) is committed to supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in complying with the EU’s chemicals legislation.
To help companies navigate their regulatory requirements, we will host two practical webinars for SMEs. We would greatly appreciate your support in promoting the webinars through your communication channels to reach as many SMEs as possible across Europe.
👉 To make this as easy as possible, here is a communication package including:
- Social media visuals in all EU languages
- One visual with no text
- Post texts in all EU languages
The material has been translated with AI, so we encourage you to review it before sharing.
Webinar 1: Poison centre notifications for SMEs. 23 September 2026
This practical webinar is aimed at micro, small and medium-sized enterprises that place hazardous mixtures on the EU market and may need to notify them to poison centres under the Classification, Labelling and Packaging Regulation. Our experts will explain the notification process and answer participants’ questions together with representatives from national helpdesks.
Webinar 2: SME verification for reduced REACH and CLP fees. 5 November 2026
This webinar will explain the new SME verification that will apply from 5 February 2027. From that date, micro, small and medium-sized enterprises intending to submit REACH registrations or applications for authorisation must apply for company size validation before submitting their dossiers to ECHA to benefit from reduced fees. Participants will learn when and how to apply, what information and documentation they need to prepare, and how to avoid delays.
Thank you for helping us ensure that SMEs across Europe are aware of these learning opportunities and the assistance available to them.
