{"id":5812,"date":"2017-06-27T11:24:40","date_gmt":"2017-06-27T09:24:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.oeb.org.cy\/?p=5812\/"},"modified":"2017-08-10T12:28:22","modified_gmt":"2017-08-10T10:28:22","slug":"women-excellence-awards-erifili-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.oeb.org.cy\/en\/women-excellence-awards-erifili-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"Women of Excellence Awards, &#8220;Erifili&#8221; 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Cyprus Employers &amp; Industrialists Federation (OEB) and the Cyprus Federation of Business and Professional Women (BPW CYPRUS) announced the <strong>2<sup>nd<\/sup> \u201cERIFILI\u201d<\/strong> <strong>Women of Excellence Awards <\/strong>for the year 2017, at a press conference held on Monday 26<sup>th<\/sup> of June, 2017. The awards are an initiative of OEB and BPW, which was undertaken last year with the successful holding of the 1<sup>st<\/sup> \u201cERIFILI\u201d awards 2016.<\/p>\n<p>During the press conference, Mr. Christos Michaelides, Chairman of OEB, pointed out that the awards aim to honor the strategic role of women in the development of modern economy, in innovation and entrepreneurship. Ms. Mary Papadopoulou, Chairman of BPW, pointed the importance of highlighting women as role models, through initiatives such as this one.<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, Mr. Demetris Aletraris, CEO of OPAP Cyprus, addressed a short welcome speech.
