On 18.6.2026, the Electoral General Assembly of the Association of Shared Buildings Administrators of Cyprus (SYDIKOIK), a member of the Employers & Industrialists Federation (OEB), was held.<\/p>\n

During the General Assembly, the outgoing Board of Directors was reviewed by the President of the Association, Mr. Christos Kyzis. Mr. Kyzis referred to the action of SYDIKOK and in particular to the promotion of the Bill entitled “On the Management of Communal Buildings and Related Issues Law”, the episode of a building collapse in Limassol and the need to establish stricter regulations for the maintenance of buildings. <\/p>\n

In addition, he referred to the goals that the new Board of Directors must set, where, among other things, emphasis must be placed on the training of members, the fire safety of buildings and the insurance of communal buildings.<\/p>\n

At the Meeting, it was unanimously decided that SYDIKOIKI should propose the establishment of a Council of Communal Buildings<\/em><\/strong>, which will deal with issues concerning, among other things, the role of management committees, the collection of communal fees and the systematic maintenance of buildings.<\/p>\n

The new Board of Directors, which was elected by the plenary, was formed into a body for the two-year period 2026 \u2013 2028, as follows.<\/p>\n
