Regarding the above issue and following the previous updates of the Federation of Employers and Industrialists (OEB),<\/strong> it is reminded that:<\/p>\n

a) The Promotion and Protection of Breastfeeding (Amendment) Law of 2025<\/strong>, which was published in the Official Gazette of the Republic on June 25, 2025<\/strong>, enters into force twelve (12) months after the date of its publication, i.e. June 25, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

b) The Breastfeeding Promotion and Protection Regulations of 2025<\/strong>, which were published in the Official Gazette of the Republic on July 4, 2025<\/strong>, enter into force twelve (12) months after the date of their publication, i.e. July 4, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It is further recalled that the Regulations set out the minimum requirements for:<\/p>\n

  1. \n
      \n
    1. the breastfeeding and\/or breast milk pumping and storage room in workplaces, and<\/li>\n
    2. the breastfeeding and\/or breast milk pumping room in public places.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      The Regulations and the Annexes are attached.<\/p>\n
