{"id":52463,"date":"2026-03-31T19:44:15","date_gmt":"2026-03-31T17:44:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.oeb.org.cy\/workshop-1st-esa-rpa-requesting-party-activities-call-briefing-2026-6-may-2026\/"},"modified":"2026-03-31T19:44:15","modified_gmt":"2026-03-31T17:44:15","slug":"workshop-1st-esa-rpa-requesting-party-activities-call-briefing-2026-6-may-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.oeb.org.cy\/en\/workshop-1st-esa-rpa-requesting-party-activities-call-briefing-2026-6-may-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Workshop &#8220;1st ESA RPA (Requesting Party Activities) Call Briefing 2026&#8221; 6 May 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Employers Industrialists Federation (OEB) informs you that the Department of Electronic Communications of the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA) are organizing a workshop on<strong> &#8220;1<\/strong><strong><sup>st <\/sup><\/strong><strong>ESA RPA<\/strong><strong> (<\/strong><strong>Requesting Party Activities<\/strong><strong>) <\/strong><strong>Call Briefing<\/strong><strong> 2026&#8243;,<\/strong> <strong>on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the <\/strong><strong>Cleopatra<\/strong> Hotel <strong> in Nicosia.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The workshop, which will be open to all national stakeholders, is organized in order for ESA to inform the participants about the framework and procedures for submitting Proposals under the 1st Call of the RPA programme, from which the projects to be funded, under the<sup> new Association Agreement signed on 23 October 2025, will emerge.  in Paris.<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>The aim of the RPA programme is to enhance the participation of national organisations, universities and companies in activities related to space technologies. The program operates in a similar way to ESA&#8217;s previous PECS (Plan for European Cooperating States) program. The RPA programme enables all national stakeholders to cooperate with ESA and receive funding for the implementation of projects, thus contributing to the development of the national space ecosystem and new capabilities.  <\/p>\n<p>In particular, the update presents basic information about the rules of the Call. At the same time, there will be a presentation on <u>how to write a good proposal<\/u>, so the <strong>presence and participation of the people who will write the proposals is important<\/strong>, as it is proven that those who attend the information in question <u>have a significantly higher success rate in the Call<\/u>. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the workshop, ESA will provide the opportunity for interested parties to have face-to-face meetings with its representatives.<\/p>\n<p>The conference is under the auspices of the Honorable Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, Mr. Nikodimos Damianos. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To participate in the workshop, please <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/RK3WwzR166YwWEuy7\">register here<\/a> <strong><u>no later<\/u><\/strong> <strong>than Wednesday, April 15, 2026. <\/strong>In addition, when registering, please <strong>indicate<\/strong> whether you wish to have a close meeting with the representatives of ESA.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>For more information, please contact the Department of Electronic Communications of the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy &#8211;
