As pointed out, despite the efforts that have been made to speed up the procedures, the problem still exists, as in many cases, the time required for the issuance of permits is longer than the time required for the construction of a project itself. <\/p>\n<p>The President of the Association, Mr. Yiannis Misirlis, underlined that delays are one of the main factors that intensify the housing problem, as they limit the market&#8217;s ability to respond in a timely manner to the increased demand for housing.
