The Department of Electromechanical Services, as the competent authority, draws the attention of all those who are active in the field of Electrical Engineering that, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Electricity Legislation:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. No one may assume responsibility for the preparation of plans and studies for the installation, installation of electrical wires and operation of any electrical appliance and equipment, unless he holds the necessary certificate of competence and a certificate of registration provided by the Licensing Authority, in accordance with Regulation 53, as referred to in Regulation 51 (1).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      \n
    1. No one is entitled to practice the profession of Electrical Engineer or Senior Electrical Technician or Electrical Equipment Contractor or Electrical Appliance Maintainer or Electrical Technician, unless he\/she holds the relevant annual certificate of registration, in accordance with Regulation 53 (14) (a).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
        \n
      1. Everyone should hold the relevant licenses, which are issued by the Licensing Authority, regardless of whether they are employed by companies that are licensed. An exception to this is personnel who carry out practical training under the supervision of another licensed person, in order to be licensed, as specified in relevant Regulations. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
          \n
        1. Consequently, those who possess the qualifications, as defined in the Electricity Regulations, should apply to the Department for the acquisition of the relevant Certificate of Competence and consequently the Certificate of Registration, in order to be able to legally perform their duties.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Licensed companies, if they carry out business as a legal entity, should also hold the appropriate annual registration certificate.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
