{"id":46913,"date":"2025-08-07T11:39:58","date_gmt":"2025-08-07T09:39:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.oeb.org.cy\/2nd-announcement-of-the-sponsorship-scheme-save-upgrade-in-small-and-medium-sized-enterprises-and-non-profit-organizations-2024\/"},"modified":"2025-08-07T11:39:58","modified_gmt":"2025-08-07T09:39:58","slug":"2nd-announcement-of-the-sponsorship-scheme-save-upgrade-in-small-and-medium-sized-enterprises-and-non-profit-organizations-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.oeb.org.cy\/en\/2nd-announcement-of-the-sponsorship-scheme-save-upgrade-in-small-and-medium-sized-enterprises-and-non-profit-organizations-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"2nd Announcement of the Sponsorship Scheme &#8220;Save \u2013 Upgrade in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and Non-Profit Organizations (2024)&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB) informs that the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry announces the call for applications for the <strong>2nd Call for Applications of the Sponsorship Scheme &#8220;Save \u2013 Upgrade in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and Non-Profit Organizations (2024)&#8221;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Applications will be accepted from <strong>Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., until April 30, 2025 at 23:59 or until the available budget is exhausted<\/strong>, only through the electronic <a href=\"https:\/\/fundingapps.meci.gov.cy\/Home\/preIndex\">System of Sponsorship Plans<\/a> of the Department of Industry and Technology.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The order of priority will be determined on the basis of the order in which the proposals are submitted.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The total budget of the Project amounts to \u20ac24,000,000, while the <strong>maximum amount of sponsorship that can be granted amounts to \u20ac300,000<\/strong>. The aid intensity amounts to 40% of the eligible costs of each application, while beneficiaries that fall under Non-Profit Organizations, as well as Small and Medium-sized Enterprises that will implement investments in mountainous and disadvantaged areas, may receive an increased percentage of sponsorship, specifically, 60% of the eligible costs.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the Plan is to promote energy-saving investments, which will bring savings of at least 35%.
