The Department of Labour Inspection (TEE), the competent authority for Occupational Safety and Health issues, informs through the Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB)<\/strong> Employers and companies operating in all sectors of economic activity<\/strong>, that it has announced this year’s National Competition for Examples of Good Practice on Occupational Safety and Health issues<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The purpose of the competition is to reward the efforts of companies to ensure the safety, health and well-being of their employees and other persons who may be affected by their activities. At the same time, through the competition, companies are encouraged to develop good practices and\/or implement practices submitted through this competition. <\/p>\n

Companies can submit their applications in relation to the good practices applied in the workplace with the ultimate goal of improving safety and health levels, no later than Friday, July 25, 2025. <\/strong> <\/p>\n

It is clarified that for each example of good practice that will be submitted, a separate form (attached as Annex I) will have to be completed, which will be sent to the e-mail address onicolaidou@dli.mlsi.gov.cy<\/a><\/p>\n

The announcement of the results of the National Competition will take place at the beginning of October and the prizes will be awarded as part of the ceremony for the Week for Safety and Health at Work 2025, which will take place in the same month.<\/p>\n
