The European Mentoring and Coaching Council, Cyprus (EMCC Cyprus), which has recently joined the Cyprus Employers & Industrialists Federation (OEB), is happy to announce the launch of its \u00ab2021 Solidarity Coaching Project\u00bb. For the second year in a row, through this project, EMCC Cyprus aims to contribute to Civil Society\u2019s invaluable work for the improvement of our society. The aim of this project is to support Not-for-Profit, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) by offering pro bono Coaching services to their staff (executives\/employees), which will be offered by Coaches who are registered members of EMCC who volunteer for the project. NGO staff members who participate in the program (i.e. Coachees) will benefit by enhancing their professional skills and by improving their performance and effectiveness within their roles, through the powerful learning and developmental process of coaching. Every NGO can request for coaching services for 1 or 2 Coachees, according to their capacity and needs at the time of application.<\/p>\n
Following a needs analysis through the application, each NGO will be matched with a volunteer Coach, whose experience and specialization is relevant to the developmental needs of each Coachee within each NGO. Over the course of 3-4 months and 6-8 coaching sessions, Coachees will receive coaching towards meeting their objectives and will be using coaching tools which they can continue to use after the end of the cycle of coaching sessions.<\/p>\n
The project aims to set high standards of quality and to offer services of a high professional level to the Coachees within the approved NGOs which will participate in the project. To safeguard the quality of the services provided, all Coaches will be supervised by a professional Coaching Supervisor, who will also volunteer her\/his services.<\/p>\n
Services will be provided on a first come, first serve basis, provided there is an available Coach within our database of volunteers who can be matched with the needs of the NGO and the Coachee(s), based on their areas of experience and expertise.<\/p>\n
